REAL WARRIORS CAMPAIGN

The Department of Defense (DOD) established the Real Warriors Campaign (RWC) to reduce the stigma associated with mental health and encourage active duty service members, Veterans, and their families to seek care. As a member of Dynamic Integrated Services (DIS), I worked on the RWC contract from 2018 to 2021, where I designed materials such as posters, infographics, and social media content.

Two posters with the title "Reaching Out Made Me Stronger" featuring quotes from a Wounded Warrior and a Sexual Assault Survivor.

Reaching Out Made Me Stronger Posters

I was proud to help Retired Army Major Jeremey Haynes and Air Force Staff Sergeant Brittany Johnson share their stories with these two posters.

Reaching Out Can Save a Life Social Media Videos

I animated these short but impactful videos to provide some tangible examples of how friends and family of Veterans and service members can watch for warning signs on social media and reach out if they think a loved one is suffering or having suicidal thoughts.

Two RWC posters: "Do's & Don'ts for Communicating About Psychological Health" and "Busting PTSD Myths."

RWC Print Materials

I designed a wide range of print materials for the RWC contract including the "Do's & Don'ts" poster on the left and the "Busting PTSD Myths" infographic on the right.
