NATIONAL CEMETERY ADMINISTRATION
As a member of Dynamic Integrated Services (DIS), I worked as a designer to create accessible content for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Cemetery Administration (NCA). NCA provides Veterans with burial services and final resting places that they've earned through their service, and the materials I designed helped to inform Veterans and their families what options were available to them.
Pre-Need Burial Eligibility Application Video
Less than half of Veterans and their families use the VA burial and memorial benefits available to them. To try and resolve this and assist with end-of-life planning for Veterans, NCA developed the Pre-Need Burial Application that allows Veterans and service members to apply and find out in advance if they are eligible for these benefits.
I animated this video to help explain the Pre-Need Burial Eligibility Application to NCA's audiences and illustrate in a positive and uplifting way how NCA can help families navigate a difficult time in life.
